I’ve used ActivMend a couple times for sore arm from tennis. It allows me to get back on the court quickly. Totally worth the price - so the 2 for 1 Black Friday special is a no brainer!
The gel packs worked perfectly. My college football playing son had a quad issue, started using them daily about 3 days prior to gameday, was ready to go and did not re-Injure. He was actually skeptical when I sent them to him and after searching online he bought in. He will always have these in his football bag going forward!
I sprained four ribs on my right side, couldn’t sleep, twist, bend without pain. My chiropractor recommended ActivMend. Five days of patches reduced the pain to almost nothing! Back to normal fast, thank you!
I used these Activemend patches on my hip, giving a thought that it was not going to work…Amazed that it did, since hip is a big area I thought it was not going to work, I am doing great regardless of my hesitation. Thanks! Jose L.
I used the ActivMend gel patches for 5 days. It did provide some pain relief. I will buy them again.
These work great! Got my daughter back running in days.
My daughter suffers from jumper’knee, we tried this product this weekend for her tournament and it help her get through it with less pain
These were so great but I have to use them so often I just can't afford them. But they were wonderful!
I used these under a compression sleeve on my knee and it stayed put. I believe it helped me heal during marathon training.
When I was hopeless to heal my recovery stress fracture on my left foot. This patch come across. I couldn’t believe it help me reducing pain and swelled immediately. But not to me soon healing, yes it is. I feel like I have claim my left foot back. Thank you soooo much.
I recently injured myself playing tennis and now have a tennis calf(partially torn calf) along with a partial ruptured plantaris tendon. I was then told by a prolific ortho doc that I was non-op and to start PT after nearly 2 weeks. Coming into the third week, I wore the patches as directed and did an 8am change everyday Monday to Friday. Everyday, I was able to increase my range of motion so much so, that by the 6th day I was able to take full strides of steps again. By the next DPT appointment, he was in clear disbelief of how much progress I made. I safely and effectively reduced my recovery timeline by 2 weeks. As I’m in the middle of recovery still, I ordered a second set and will likely order again to keep the progress going. Thank you!
I injured my ilium while running a simple 5K. I was not able to put any weight on the left side where the injury happen for a good two weeks and because this is one of the regions that are hard to reach, things were slooooow. For someone who is active, this was pure torture and I decided to invest in active mend. First and foremost, it works. After five days of continuous use, and yes, you have to use continuously, the difference is tangible. I can walk , I played tennis and I even ran a little. I still have the injury so I am thinking another round of active mend but it really did work for me. Now, here is some things that can get better: the patches do not remain on hence ActiveMend sends the patches along with tape which I used after the second day as the patches were constantly peeling off. So make sure to tape them as they are supposed to remain on the spot for a 24 hour period. I injure myself frequently, that is what happens when you do sports and you are over 40 but I am glad I found this product. I also use salon pas and others but ActiveMend is indeed potent and does not have the menthol smell. Good product . Tape it!
I ran into moderate to severe knee ligament pain from over-exertion due to a 500 mile/7 day cycling fundraiser. I’m in my mid 50s and an avid cyclist but I don’t regularly stretch or condition my body as needed to maintain the rides I take which range from 10 to 70 miles. This 500 mile event took a toll on the right leg but more acutely in the knee area, and the left side.
I applied the 5 day patch regimen and noticed on Day 5 the pain and stiffness on the top of the knee was nearly gone, but the side of the knee was still sore. I started PT exercises to re-build strength, and performing various stretches daily as well. It’s not until a few days after Day 5 when I felt the left ligament finally calm down, along with the entire knee swelling reduced noticeably. There is a delayed effect for me using this preparation. That said, I am back on recovery rides of 30-40 miles with little to no elevation, and I am at 80% strength with no pain. I expect full recovery soon.
I am repeating another 5 day regimen just to help finish the knee portion of the leg. I think once it gets that dosage, I’ll be 100% (inc. exercises and strength training + recovery rides).
Product is definitely worth investigating. I’ve used various preparations and NSAIDs and none provide what seems like “healing” - they simply mask the root cause. $.02.
My elbow pain was chronic. Activmend allowed me to continue with PT and I finally got better!
